April 1975
- Hokuriku University founded under leadership of Hayashiya Kamejirō, former Minister of National Affairs in the 4th Cabinet of Prime Minister Yoshida Shigeru (1946~1954)
- Miura Kōji appointed President
- Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences established
- Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Department of Hygienic Sciences

- University Opening Ceremony

April 1979
- Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Masters Degree) established

May 1980
- Kamejirō Hayashiya passes away
