Graduation Ceremony 2016

The Hokuriku University Graduation Ceremony for 2016 was held on the 15th of March at the Honda-no-Mori Hall in Kanazawa.

 

355 students in total from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of Future Learning and Japanese Language Course for International Students joined together in receiving their Bachelor's degrees and Certificates of Completion.

 

Special awards were given to certain students in recognition of their academic achievement, excellence in their respective fields as well their contribution to the community.

 

The Kamejiro Hayashiya Award was presented to:

 - Tatsuhiro Tochihara (Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences) for his overall academic excellence and achievements outside of school.

 - Wang Peijin (School of Future Learning) for her outstanding academic excellence within the university as well as outside school. She played a leading role in the activities carried out by seminar class as well as having being awarded a scholarship from an external organisation.

 

The President's Award was presented to:

 - Ayako Mizugami (Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences) for her outstanding academic achievement and always playing a leading role in supporting her fellow and junior classmates. She also was active in presenting her research activities to the general public outside of university.

 - Kyoko Nishinaga (School of Future Learning) for her continual support of extracurricular activities, leader of the university festival organising committee during her 2nd year and playing a leading role in the university open campus sessions held for high school students.

 - Sayo Nakagawa (School of Future Learning) for her excellent TOEIC test score and academic excellence in English, volunteering with the Kenrokuen Spot Guide activities and participating in various English activities in the community.

 

Special awards were also given to Shuhei Fukai and Zhou Shijie for their overall academic achievement in their studies as well as their contribution to the community.
