Summer Course for International Students 2013

      July 10 saw the start of the 2013 Summer Course for International Students. 34 students from America, Taiwan, Thailand, Korea and China will participate in Japanese language classes during the mornings and various cultural activities in the afternoons such as wearing yukata (summer kimono), making traditional Japanese sweets, tea ceremony, ikebana flower arrangement, visiting a local sake brewery with a history of over 120 years, judo, natural hot springs and a trip to Shirakawa-go, Hida-Takayama and Mt. Hakusan. The program ends on the 2nd of August.
