Graduation Ceremony 2014

The Graduation Ceremony for the 2014 class of Hokuriku University was held on the 14th of March at the Honda-no-mori Hall in Kanazawa. A total of 551 students graduated: 

1 student from the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences awarded with a Ph.D.

145 students from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences

374 students from the School of Future Learning

31 students from the Japanese Language Course for International Students 

At the ceremony, each student's name was announced and a student representative from each Faculty and Department was presented with a graduation certificate from Chairman and President Tsutomu Ogura on behalf of all students. 

The Kamejiro Hayashiya (Founder of Hokuriku University) award was presented to Yui Nakagawa (Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences), Shizuka Hikida and Wang Xixi(School of Future Learning) for their outstanding academic achievements. The Tsutomu Ogura President award was presented to Minobu Mataki (School of Future Learning) for not only his academic achievement but his tireless efforts in contributing to the work of the Sato-Yama, Sato-Umi project being carried out in the Noto area, Ishikawa Prefecture. He will continue his studies at Kanazawa University at the graduate level.  

Congratulatory speeches were given by Chairman and President Ogura as well as President of Kanazawa Medical University, Professor Shogo Katsuda.
