Hokuriku University Festival #2024

The Hokuriku University Festival will be held on Saturday October 12 and Sunday October 13 at the Taiyogaoka Campus. The Hokuriku University festival, affectionately known as the "Hokudai Festival," is a historic event now in its 48th year.
This year's theme is "Hokudai Festival 2024: Prism of Individuality"
In a society that values "individuality" and "diversity," we thought about how best Hokuriku University can symbolise this. The answer is a "prism." A prism is an optical element that disperses or refracts light. When light hits a prism, it undergoes total reflection, changing direction and displaying seven colours. This phenomenon, where colourless light transforms into a spectrum of diverse colours, mirrors the process by which individuality shines. We believe the Hokudai Festival is a place where this "colour" can be freely expressed, expanding infinite possibilities.
In today's world, where diversity is highly valued, the importance of expressing individuality has grown even more. We aim to create a festival where people can express themselves and discover new "colours" they've never seen before.
Please come to the 48th Hokudai Festival. All the staff sincerely look forward to welcoming you.
